I created this page to provide myself an effective way of sharing my employment journey with friends and family. It is titled work different because over the past 16 years of work, I have acquired a unique set of skills that make me...me. Prior to this day my work life was divided. On the one hand I had this career in software. On the other hand a hobby turned side hustle turned e-commerce business. These 2 worlds had almost no overlap. It seemed like the 2 worlds could never co-exist. Until today. Today I was given a gift. An opportunity to search for different work that I might never have looked for had I not been forced out of my comfort zone. Work that brings together the skills and experiences I have acquired from these parallel worlds. I am grateful for this opportunity.
